Attractive, modern and close to the city - Your rental home in the west.side Bonn

It is situated on the south-western edge of the new west.side Bonn district, close to the city center and partly bordered by old trees and green spaces, 139 modern rental apartments with 2 to 5 rooms await you in VEIL CARRÉ. The attractive, five-part building ensemble captivates its architectural design language influenced by historical industrial buildings. The warm earth tones of the facades also skillfully play with the brick aesthetic of yesteryear. Floor-to-ceiling windows and generous balconies represent a contemporary, open attitude to life.

The outdoor areas are carefully landscaped and designed with wide paths, seating areas and playgrounds. This is where people like to meet for a chat with their neighbors! A typical underground garage connects all buildings with more than 130 parking spaces. The basement has covered bicycle, stroller and parking spaces. Each apartment can be reached by elevator, has a video intercom and its basement compartment.

Area and connections

Shopping, training, learning - everything is just around the corner

First of all: The accessibility of VEIL CARRÉ is excellent! Situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, you can reach the central train station or the city center by bike in just ten minutes – and thus, the largest continuous pedestrian zone in Germany. It takes 15 minutes with the bus, that stops right in front of the building, and you can also reach the Endenich-Nord train station in no time! Are you on the road by car? It takes about three minutes to get the freeways to Cologne and Frankfurt and a little more than 20 minutes to Cologne Bonn Airport.

Daily shopping is also easy. The local supply in the neighborhood is complemented by the supply in the Endenich district. Various supermarkets, discounters and a drugstore can be reached on foot or by bike. There is also nothing to stop your sporting ambitions here, as a soccer field, climbing hall and gym are more or less just around the corner. This also applies to the neighborhood’s daycare center, other daycare centers and an elementary school – and the University of Bonn’s technical campus is only approx. one kilometer away.

Inside as appealing as the outside

The VEIL CARRÉ is as appealing and modern on the outside as it is on the inside. Whether 2, 3, 4 or 5 rooms: All 139 apartments inspire with a balcony or terrace. The predominantly floor-to-ceiling windows and window fronts ensure a light-flooded ambiance and, combined with the round 2.60 meter high ceilings, create a generous feeling of space. If the sun becomes too much for you, the roller shutters on all windows provide relief.

The white wallpapered walls and ceilings and the stylish oak parquet flooring provide that certain something in the living rooms. Door and window handles are made of matt stainless steel. Large-format wall and floor tiles are laid in the bathrooms and WCs. Here, the timelessly modern fixtures such as glass shower partitions, wall-mounted WCs and flat towel radiators are also impressive. The latter complement the underfloor heating, which provides pleasant warmth in all rooms.

Rhenish federal city with international flair

Bonn, formerly the German capital, is today not only the second seat of the German government but also an essential seat of the United Nations – and the charming federal city, situated on both sides of the Rhine, still offers a great deal of international flair. Moreover, with a total population of around 335,000, the city’s more than 38,000 students also have a lasting impact on the cityscape. Lastly, Bonn is a highly dynamic business location with the DAX-listed companies Deutsche Post, Telekom, and many medium-sized companies.

In addition to the Beethoven House and the Bonn Cathedral, the most famous sights include the Old City Hall and the Electoral Palace – today the university seat. The renowned Museum Mile and the many theaters, opera houses and concert halls are a must for culture fans. In summer, Bonners are drawn to the open-air stages, the beer gardens or the Rheinaue – the city’s most popular recreational area. But the Kottenforst near the city or the picturesque Siebengebirge with its mountains and hills are always worth a trip.

The new kind of urban living in the northwest of Endenich

On an approximately 60,000 square meter former factory site northwest of the Endenich district, an exciting new urban quarter is being created in the form of west.side Bonn. A well-balanced mix of commercial space, residential domiciles and public spaces represent a modern kind of urban living. The industrial history of the area is incorporated into the design concept. Selected buildings and elements are preserved and carefully restored. Brick, glass and steel combine with modern and expressive architecture.

A lively square with restaurants and stores forms the center of the quarter. To the south, it opens up into a multifaceted neighborhood whose character is shaped on the one hand by the resident university institutions and the student life that goes with them, and on the other by quiet residential areas. Endenich offers a variety of cafés and restaurants and is considered Bonn’s cultural hotspot with its theaters and concert venues. In addition, the Meßdorfer Feld offers local recreation within walking distance, with its walking paths, fields and meadows.
